Delicious coffee with a soul
Every day Koffie Kān roasts and processes more than 700 kilograms of coffee. We are proud to be a small family company and we work with just 6 members of staff. Johan Vermeersch and Martine Nijsters started Koffie Kān more than thirty years ago. In those days, it was just a small coffee-roasting shop in the centre of our seaside village, Wenduine, on the Belgian coast. Then as now, Koffie Kān insisted on the highest standards in all stages of the roasting process.
Without artificial reworking and in an environment-friendly way, we are able to produce a series of mild coffee blends, with a naturally low caffeine content. Our trademark is quality. Quality at all levels. The result is 'delicious coffee with a soul. This is closely connected with our vision of how a business should be run.
As the owners of a business, we feel that we too have a clear obligation towards society. In this respect, we were anxious to make our company sustainable and socially responsible, long before these became fashionable words.
