At all levels of the process we check to make sure the coffee meets the strict quality standards of Koffie Kàn.  • A specimen of every purchased batch of coffee enables us to sample the quality of each harvest, even before the coffee is delivered • On arrival, the raw beans are taken out of their jute sacks, cleansed of dust and grime, and stored in a storage silo, where each origin goes into a separate compartment. Next comes the blending. This is pure craftsmanship: knowing how to combine the mildness of one origin with the full taste of another and the long-lasting aftertaste of a third…  • The DYCOLOTE® roasting technique is based on the traditional process, but is computer-controlled in order to exclude human error as much as possible: a guarantee of good digestibility• Every batch of roasted coffee is laser-controlled for the right roasting degree, because that guarantees the stability of our blends. • Each bag of coffee is checked for correct weight, air-tightness and residual oxygen: a guarantee that it will keep well and for a long time. • The independent agency Quality Control regularly checks these quality standards, the roasting degree and the caffeine content. That is why Koffie Kàn is the only coffee in Belgium with the Quality label.
